Villa Lucia is an 18th Century lakeside villa restored to its original artful splendour and
decadently furnished to capture all the opulence and elegance of the Italian lakes.
Gracing Lake Como’s western shoreline – Villa Lucia sits on the ‘golden shore’, suitably
described for the brilliant sunlight that seeps gently through the Alps onto the calm waters,
creating possibly the finest view anywhere on the lake.
Each room is different both in size and decor, with period furniture, paintings and drapes of
silk brocade. Reminiscent of the luxury and magnificence of a bygone era, Villa Lucia combines
grand yet hospitable, palatial yet comfortable, historic yet contemporary.
Surrounded by lush gardens that offer an array of azaleas, tall stretched cordelines, oleanders,
rhododendrons and camellias, reach far beyond the villa that gives way to your own very
private breathtaking view of the lake. The gardens at Villa Lucia make for a wonderful dinner
‘al fresco’ or a romantic evening under the starlight, with its terraced area perfect for dining
and entertaining.
Villa Lucia’s accommodation offered over two floors sleeps 10 with five large double
bedrooms and four bathrooms. Balconies overlook the lake and
neighbouring ‘jewel of the lake’ – Bellagio. There are large reception rooms with
doors opening onto the surrounding gardens, fully appointed fitted kitchen and large
vestibule hallway to welcome guests.
